STEAM ESOL Teacher/Consultant
Are you a qualified ESOL teacher, with experience teaching in New Zealand primary/ intermediate schools? Do you want to help foreign students exceed their full potential and achieve their utmost best in English speaking environments?
We are currently seeking exceptional ESOL teachers to join our academic team as a consultant, to develop topic based English lessons. These lessons will serve as supporting English components to our STEAM courses for Chinese students.
We aim to enhance students' ability to expand their knowledge in our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) programme, an interdisciplinary and inquiry-based learning. The English lessons will equip the students with the life-long skill of being proficient in a prominent global language.
The experienced ESOL teacher will provide professional and academic advice, in designing English classes based on teaching methods and philosophy used in New Zealand schools. We therefore welcome applicants with good knowledge of the New Zealand curriculum.
Ideally consultation can take place at our office in Auckland CBD, however it can be done remotely if necessary. Working hours are also negotiable, however we currently estimate that it will be two to four hours per week for minimum three months, very likely to be extended given the scope of the task.

Preferred qualification and skills:
